Why Gethsemane?
Our name, “Gethsemane,” is an example of what has happened in our lives. Gethsemane, a place where olive trees are grown, is best known as the place where Jesus prayed. Many forget what He went through there to be ready to give His life for you and for me.
To put oil on your table, the olive goes through a process, and the hardest part is when it goes into a press and is squeezed until the best of it comes out: pure oil.
You may wonder why we can talk to you about this. It's simple: we've been inside that press, letting God bring out the best in us.
